Why Do We Give?
Giving is a clear mandate given to us in God’s word as a part of our faith,obedience, and fruitfulness towards the LORD. We choose to live open handedly and give generously towards the things of God so that we are found faithful with what God has given to us.
We are Faithful to God’s mandate.
We realize that our giving and sowing results in the building up of God’s Kingdom here on earth. It takes financial resources to feed the poor, clothe the naked, comfort the hurting, and bless all people so that they see the God we serve. Because we give so generously, we are able to make a great impact and difference throughout the world in leading people to Jesus.
We are Building God’s Kingdom
We also firmly believe here at LIV Church that God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6-7) We give because we have a heart for people but we also give with an expectation that GOD BLESSES FAITHFULNESS. We know that when we prioritize whats important to God and seek first what he wants done, he will not allow us to lack for anything. (Matt 6:33)
